[A calm, cool greeting sounds on the private network as, at first, the video shows nothing but darkness. Eventually the lens adjusts to show a young man with golden serpentine eyes, his hand petting and rubbing through the crest of a small Murkrow’s feathers whilst a Bagon is glaring at the camera from the man’s other side. He’s sitting, relaxed on the bed in a room that looks identical to so many others in the Rocket Base, before he addresses the pokégear again.]

I suppose this happened to all of you; taken to this world with these creatures – Pokémon? With only the clothes on your backs, pokémon of your own, and this note lying on your desks.

[He waves the note in front of the camera briefly before setting it down and turning back to the lens.]

It’s pointless to ask how to return, is it not? Rather than asking that, I’ll try a different inquiry. What do you have to tell me about Team Rocket? What have you done that makes it a worthy organization to work under?

In my two years as a member of thissss organization, Team Rocket has cornered the market on Slowpoke tails, taken over the Radio Tower in Goldenrod, acquired the Tower in Lavender Town, captured a Legendary Pokemon, acquired control of Johto's sanitation system in order to flood cities with living garbage, and used genetic engineering to wreak untold amounts of havoc throughout both Johto and Kanto culminating in the destruction of multiple Pokemon Centers and heavy damage to various Gyms.

[And those are just the things he remembers at present!]

[Don't worry Cobra, he's going to listen to you after just like he said he would. Even if he's not entirely sure he wants to.

Though, he's going to make a mental note about 'legendary pokemon'. Hm.]

Ah yesss, my accomplishments. Where should I begin? Perhaps I should ssstart by covering what I’ve done in my world. Or maybe I should limit myself to what I’ve succeeded at here.

[He's only planning to go over what he's done here, but he just wants to make it clear that he's quite the successful villain. Or at least he thinks he is.]

I would think your deeds here would be more relevant, all things considered.

In addition to participating in numerous Rocket operations, I've taken it upon mysssself to commit various acts of terror in order to well, terrorize the populace! Ssstarting with the poisoning of Violet City's school! Then I had ssseveral bombs placed inside Goldenrod's Game Corner! I've also committed terrorist attacks on three Gyms, and sssent a mailbomb to one of my enemies! And most recently, I ran a charity scam in order to cheat the people out of their hard earned money at Christmasss time!

It sounds like you're quite effective in your work, as well as to spread chaos and evil wherever you go.

Now, you mentioned something about 'legendary' pokémon earlier? What makes them so different from other pokémon?

They're rarer and much much ssstronger than ordinary Pokemon. A normal trainer can easily subdue a ssssingle ordinary Pokemon, but bringing down a Legendary required an entire squadron of Rockets!

I see. So they are inherently much stronger than normal.

[Hm...]

Out of curiousity, what is the one Team Rocket captured like? If possible, I would like to see it.

...unfortunately, that is no longer possible.

And why is that?

Because Team Rocket chose to release it back into the wild. There were...unforeseen complications resulting from its capture.

Incredibly spontaneous and destructive freak weather patterns across both regions for example.

So it would be disruptive to the world's balance should the legendary pokémon be taken away from their roles. Is that an assumption I should make?

I don't know about the whole world, but it's certainly disssruptive to Johto and Kanto.

[Hm. Looks like he'll have to gather some more information if he wants to do anything with them, or at least to see if anything can be done.]

I believe that's all the relevant information. As far as I know, it hasn't been ssseen since it was released, and I believe I already mentioned the project resulting from its capture.

And - if you don't mind my asking - just what pokémon was it, Commander?

I believe it was a Sssssuicune.

[He nods, taking the information to heart. So stealing the legendary pokémon causes repercussions to the geographical region they originate from? Interesting... He'll have to look into it more.]
